To the Lighthouse - Virginia Woolf
They never actually stand on the lighthouse, you could have guessed it. A lot of stream of consciousness here. Human beings all along, with some points of particular concern to women. A bunch of fellows in a pleasant house on an island. Two different days and ten years between them with the first world war included. Good old book.
