The Great Gatsby - Scott Fitzgerald
This is a classic and I had previously read it in a spanish translation and even had seen the picture with Robert Redford (not that I remembered too much, just the advertisement with the gigantic glasses). Now I have come across Murakami's quote about reading it once and again and always enjoying something new, and I have devoted myself to read it again in the original Fitzgerald's own english words. And, well, it's alright; but I guess it's a lot more what it's not said about Gatsby than what it¡s actually said. I have felt that the real main character of the novel is the narrator Nick Carraway. Maybe I ought to read it again to discover new things...
