A Summer Place - Delmer Daves (1959)

Sad songs, instrumentals. Number one in my chart is "Sleep Walk" by Santo & Johnny. Number two is "A Summer Place" by Percy Faith. Pure melancholy made music. The composer was Max Steiner and the film of the same name is a romantic drama with a double couple story, mature and young. Fifty years ago things were different but not so much in the end. Here young kisses outnumber mature kisses and nothing really happens but for the love stories (that just happen). Anyway I've watched it pleasantly and some lines of the dialogues have struck me as sensitive and realistic.
