Any Human Heart - William Boyd

William Boyd was born in 1952, in Africa, attended school in England and, I guess, knows pretty well both Europe and the US. This stated, is not so surprising to read the supposed autobiography of Logan Mountstuart. A life along the twentieth century not too far from any common existence. Not too far, but far anyway as long as it concerns art and literature. Logan happens to meet a lot of painters and writers. In more personal accounts, on the other hand, he's as human as could be. I mean as human as you and me. He also writes fluently, british and bright. Enjoyable book.
