Lives of Girls and Women - Alice Munro

This was the second book published by Munro, so we can say that she was a first-class writer from the beginning. Although they are different stories, they all follow the early life of one Della Jordan, the narrator, and some reflection of the  author herself, a girl living in a small Canadian town. Wonderfully written.
