Wide Sargasso Sea - Jean Rhys

I had heard about this novel as the best of Rhys, but had no idea what it was about. Now I know it is a prequel, no less. I've enjoyed the first part, a brilliant tale of life in Jamaica around eighteen hundred and forty. The second part has been confusing and the short part three has not made the trick. The title is powerful, truly.
