The Kings of Cool - Don Winslow

This a prequel, but who cares? The tale jumps back and forth from the sixties to the beginning of this century dealing with drugs all along. Winslow is funny, sure, and dialogues witty. It reminded me of Elmore Leonard. I guess the movie was inevitable. The characters are mostly men and violence goes in crescendo.
