Master and Commander - Patrick O'Brian

Sail Ahoy! Aubrey and Maturin's first of twenty  novels. Naval adventures with a lot of fordian episodes (fordian coming from John Ford, the filmmaker, not Henry). There`s a certain lack of unity but anyhow the prose is good indeed. The only risk is that of getting entangled in the rigging.
