The Infinities - John Banville

This is a family in an isolated house in the country (no idea which country, Ireland, England). There are visitors too and the quite amazing presence of some gods, so to speak (we can't understand their real nature). Woolf's "To the Lighthouse" has come to mind, I guess there are similarities. High level prose indeed.
