Barley Patch - Gerald Murnane
A writer who, years ago, gave up fiction decides to write a new book. By the way he tries to explain his reasons to do so. The result is this mesmerizing text with a recurrent grassy plain countryside and a line of trees on the horizon and the author diving in some memories from his early life. For some mysterious motives I've read it with pleasure.
