Something of Myself - Rudyard Kipling
"For my friends known and unknown" completes the title. Kipling wrote it in his last years and it was published in 1937 after his death. The tone is humorous and tells us about his comings and goings through the british empire and in particular about his writing with no special stress in his personal life. By the way (and this is not in the book) the name Rudyard comes after a lake in Staffordshire, England, the place the writer's parents first met.
