The Empty Family - Colm Tóibín

A collection of short stories by this talented irishman from Enniscorthy. If I have to choose one single word to define his prose, I would say exquisite. These stories come directly from life, from Tóibín's life I guess. He narrates in accurate words a number of passages that I see as perfectly plausible in the living of a man just like him. Let's put apart the last one, a novella about gay love between two inmigrants in a really difficult nowadays situation.
