The Buried Giant - Kazuo Ishiguro

A fantasy novel in Tolkien's line, somehow. In post-Arthur England a mist maintains people forgetful enough not to look for revenge. Knights, she-dragon, monks and Axl and Beatrice, an old couple truly in love. Plus Sir Gawain as special guest. A masterpiece narrative that makes you think. About the title, there's a mention at the beginning of such a burial but nothing else afterwards...
