Sweet Promised Land - Robert Laxalt

One or two lands, are we talking about?. This is the moving story of a basque shepherd, and father of the author, gone to Nevada (one promised land) who in his old age returns visiting the land (second one) he had left behind some forty seven years before. It would have been Ireland and John Ford would have made a movie.
