Terrific title for a book about bereavement. Joan Didion lost her husband, life long companion and also writer John Gregory Dunne when he suffered a heart attack in december 2003. Didion tell us her feelings during the following year, how she tried to understand the fact and how she couldn't avoid the sensation that the deceased could reappear for some strange enough reason.
