The Goldfinch - Donna Tartt

Well, I knew the part of his mom dying in the museum and it seemed forever before it actually happened in the novel and I was feeling a bit of anxious about it all. But as pages went by the story drenched in me and I've followed it kind of mesmerized. A good plot with some surprising twists. Anyway it could have been told shorter.
