Beloved - Toni Morrison

We've got here some idea about how it was life for colored people in America not so long ago, just before and after slavery was abolished. I must confess that I don't like too much the author's idea of bringing the lost child to actual flesh. The coming and going in time doesn't help either. Anyway I have enjoyed the fluency of english along the story and the vivid language put in the mouths of the characters.
