Jane Eyre - Charlotte Brontë

Mid nineteenth century and this little woman, Jane or Charlotte or both of them at once, intelligent and passionate made her way in life bravely. Save for the gothic tale involving Mr Rochester's first wife, not so easy to accept, the story goes by beautifully even now a century and a half later. And, by the way, all the sisters (Brontë) were valiant.
