The Sense Of An Ending - Julian Barnes
A masterpiece in its brevity. A tale about aging, love, friendship and memory. The choosing of words is accurate and the narrator tell us the story of his life with certain feeling of failure. Not that his life couldn't be any of ours. A particular anecdote serves him all right for his purposes. It won the Booker Prize and I, modestly, agree.
