Metamorphosis, In The Penal Colony, The Country Doctor - Franz Kafka

Sure you've heard about Mr Samsa when he woke up one morning converted in a kind of roach (the precise type of insect is not mentioned in the book), but do you know what happened afterwards?. I'd dare to say that what happened was a perfect logical string of events. Same as in "The Penal Colony", another short story of him; understood that both the situations are completely "kafkian". As for "The Country Doctor" I think it could be more the tale of some crazy nightmare.
