The Ghost Writer - Roman Polanski (2010)
This is a thriller with a literary touch, a subtle one. It's based in a novel by Robert Harris, an old friend of mine. Not that I have ever had dinner with him, but you can read my post about his novel "Lustrum" in this very blog. There's one general idea in this film that I am reluctant to agree with. I'm talking about the conspiracy theory (it's said that appeal to a conspiracy theory is to look for an easy solution in a complicated problem) that is the spine of the plot. Remarkable the use of new technologies: Mobile phones, PCs and even the GPS navigation system in a car. Apart from that the acting is good and the action lively.
