Ours is not the real world; there is that veil to lift and "see the god Pan". Against all odds, it turns out there is nothing good behind the veil... Although sense is awol, the tale is well told.

Mitad autobiografía del autor, que ha hecho de todo en el mundo de la edición y el periodismo, y mitad auto-homenaje de una editorial. Lo mejor son los fragmentos de entrevistas a escritores del pasado reciente o actuales en las que estos hablan de eso, de literatura.

The Hare with Amber Eyes - Edmund De Waal

A family chronicle lasting a century and a half, starring the Ephrussi, a Jewish banking family that originated  in Odessa and became really wealthy in Vienne and Paris; and then lost almost everything due to antisemitism. A collection of netsuke (miniature Japanese sculptures) works as the backbone of the story. Nicely written.

La isla de la mujer dormida - Arturo Pérez-Reverte

Novela de aventuras con buenos momentos marineros sobre un presunto episodio, ligado a la guerra civil, en el mar Egeo y sus islas. Bien documentada, con su héroe Pérez-Revertiano, su mujer fatal y unos cuantos secundarios de raza, en especial el radiotelegrafista Bobby Beaumont. 

Lakioa - Josu Goikoetxea

Lakioa txoriak ehizatzeko zera hori da, hegazti koitaduak itsatsita gera daitezen amarrua. Ah, bazenekiela. Halan edo holan, bederatzi narrazio hauek bata besteari lotuta daude. Nabarmen ondo idatzita dago liburua, eta ironia puntu batez hornituta.
