Primorosa edición de este clásico de la literatura portuguesa traducido y prologado por Elena Losada Soler. Mi error ha sido leer la introducción donde se detalla el argumento de pe a pa. A pesar de todo tiene ángel la prosa y vale como reflejo de la vida en Lisboa hace ciento cincuenta años.

The Moons of Jupiter - Alice Munro

Fantastic title that belongs to the last of the stories in the book. As usual Munro deals with people, with women who marry and divorce and maybe remarry, with their daughters and sons, with Vancouver and Toronto and those farms in the wilderness where they all come from usually raised under some tyrannical father.

Salaketa izenburu berarekin hasten da. Iparraldeko egoerari buruzko nobela da hau. Hainbat pertsonaiak ikuspegi ezberdinetatik adierazten digute. Historia, politika, turismoaren eragina, euskararen beheraldia, ustelkeria eta abar thriller baten itxurarekin. Hango euskararen zertzelada batzuk ezagutzeko ere balio du.

Meditaciones - Marco Aurelio

Curioso que un emperador romano haya escrito (en griego clásico) un libro de reflexiones filosóficas. Además lo hizo, en parte al menos, mientras guerreaba contra tribus germánicas. Los razonamientos me han parecido a menudo oscuros, aún así unas cuantas ideas quedan expuestas con meridiana claridad (y les veo mucho sentido).

Just Like You - Nick Hornby

Who? Me? Well, we are all alike, that's true. I guess the title could have been "Whatever Works", which suggests that prejudices are silly and bad. Hornby is funny, as always. Dialogues mostly, so the script is almost ready for the movie. Brexit is discussed.
