Brief novel about the hard life of a man in the west (the Idaho panhandle, the north of the state) along the first half of the past century. The west as in a western I mean. You feel it could perfectly have happened that way, the she-wolf left aside. Entertaining.

De paso nos cuenta algunas pinceladas de su vida. Prevalece la emoción y el sentimiento filial con páginas que novelan situaciones y pequeñas anécdotas.

Una incursión, algo reiterativa, por esa extensión del presente que es el pasado según dice Cercas que dijo Faulkner.
