The Magician's Nephew - C.S. Lewis

The sixth of the seven novels of "The Chronicles of Narnia", which is actually a prequel and explains the origins of the world of Narnia. The writing is fluid, enjoyable, and, dare I say, British. It's been a surprise to see the similarity between the creation of Narnia and that of Genesis in the Bible.
